Abstract:
Proiectul isi propune studiul
comportamentului straturilor de W, C si Be cu grosime cuprinsa intre 0.5 - 10 µm
in interactia cu fasciculul laser
terawatt simplu sau multiplu precum si in interactia cu plasma concasata de
fasciculul laser produsa in mediu gazos, inclusiv deuteriu. Sistemul
laser Terawatt (Tewalas), facilitate moderna detinuta de INFLPR, are
o durata a pulsului de 20-30 x 10 –
15 s, o energie a pulsului
de 400-450 mJ si o rata repetitiva de 10 Hz. Densitatea
fasciculului laser de 1014 W/cm2 va fi focalizata pe acoperiri de W, C
si Be de cativa micrometri peste depunerile in atmosfera de aer/ deuterium. Pulsurile
laser vor fi programate pentru durate de la nano sau picosecunde la sute de Hz
sau kHz pentru a obtine durate si densitati de putere comparabile cu
instabilitatile din plasma de fuziune.
Ne asteptam ca spectroscopia vizibila in timp a plasmelor produse de
laserul concasat al aerului folosind pulsuri laser de durata femptosecundelor
(50-450 mJ, 20-30 fs) sa evidentieza trasaturi care nu au putut fi observate cu
pulsurile de laser mai lungi (nanosecunde). Se vor studia efectele plasmelor
produse cu laser in filmele pure de C, W si Be dar si in combinatia acestor
trei elemente. Pentru caracterizarea acoperirilor inainte si dupa expunere se
vor utiliza tehnici moderne precum: microscopia fortei atomice (AFM),
microscopie electronica de baleiaj (SEM), spectroscopie fotoelectronica cu raze
X (XPS), spectroscopie Raman, spectroscopie de retroimprastiere Rutherford
(RBS), analiza de reactie nucleara (NRA) etc.
Obiectivele generale ale
proiectului sunt obtinerea rezultatelor stiintifice experimentale si fundamentale
privind i) aplicatiile materialelor
C, W si Be ca materiale acoperitoare pentru primul pertere al reactoarele de
fuziune de tip tokamak, ii) dinamica
plasmei generate in C, W si Be, iii)
interactia laser-probe si dinamica desorptiei urmei, distributia vitezei
diferitelor produse ablationate.
Plan de lucru
S1.
Interactia acoperirilor de C, W si Be cu fasciculul laser pulsat in atmosfera
de vid. Caracterizarea acoperirilor inainte si dupa realizarea experimentului
de intercatie cu fascicul laser.
S2.
Interactia acoperirilor de C, W si Be cu plasma concasata produsa in
facilitatea Tewalass in atmosfera de aer. Caracterizarea acoperirilor inainte
si dupa realizarea experimentului de intercatie cu fascicul laser.
S 3.
Interactia acoperirilor de C, W si Be cu plasma concasata produsa in
facilitatea Tewalass in atmosfera de deuterium. Caracterizarea acoperirilor
inainte si dupa realizarea experimentului.
S4 Interactia
acoperirilor compozite binare si ternare cu plasma concasata produsa de
facilitatea Tewalass in atmosfera de aer si de deuterium. Caracterizarea
acoperirilor inainte si dupa realizarea experimentului de intercatia laser.
